Accessibility statement
Last updated 4 October 2026. Draft for review by Media Visto before publication.
This statement covers mediavisto.com. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
What we aim for
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA. In practice you should be able to:
- use every page with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a link that skips to the content
- use a screen reader to move through each page by its headings and landmarks
- zoom to 400 percent without losing content or needing to scroll sideways
- read text at a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 in both the dark and the light theme
- tap every control on a phone, because nothing interactive is smaller than 44 by 44 pixels
- turn off animation through the reduced motion setting on your device
- read and navigate the site with scripts switched off
How we test
Every page is checked with axe-core in both themes, at phone and desktop widths, each time the site is built. The build also checks heading order, image descriptions, target sizes, sideways scrolling from 320 pixels wide, and that nothing with keyboard focus is hidden behind the bar at the bottom of a phone screen.
What is not yet tested
A full pass with a screen reader, and a test on real phones, have not yet been recorded for this version of the site. Both are planned before it is published, and this section will say what they find.
Sites we link to
The sites shown under Selected work belong to their owners. Their accessibility is part of the work we do on them, but it is not covered by this statement. The studio site, mediavisto.dev, has its own statement.
